Brand Tracking and Dashboards

Design and build a brand tracking study to capture your brand funnel and key attributes, then identify insights to drive action on the organization's strategic decisions

Maintaining and growing a brand is not easy! Brand tracking continuously measures your brand's health, analyzing how your consumers buy and use your products, and what they think and feel about the brand itself. It's a important tool to manage and maintain your brand.

The Process

Brand tracking dashboards are essential tools for monitoring and evaluating the performance of your brand across various metrics. Here are key elements in the process on how we got started with brand tracking dashboards, and saw great value added.

Define Objectives and KPIs

Clearly articulate your brand tracking objectives. What specific aspects of your brand do you want to monitor? And identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with your objectives. These could include brand awareness, perception, sentiment, customer loyalty, and more.

Choose the Right Tools

Selecta dashboard tool or platform that suits your needs. There are various tools available, such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or custom solutions depending on your organization's preferences and capabilities.

DataSources

Determine the sources of data you'll use for brand tracking. This might include social media analytics, customer surveys, website analytics, sales data, and other relevant sources.

Ensure that the selected data sources align with your brand tracking objectives and KPIs.

SetUp Data Collection:

Implement the necessary data collection mechanisms to gather information from your chosen sources.

Utilize tools like Google Analytics, social media monitoring tools, and customer surveys to collect relevant data.

Data Integration

Integrate data from different sources into your chosen dashboard platform. This may involve connecting APIs, importing CSV files, or using built-in connectors provided by the dashboard tool.

The Steps We Took For The Dashboard Design

Plan the layout and design of your brand tracking dashboard. Consider the visual hierarchy, color schemes, and the arrangement of different metrics to ensure clarity and ease of interpretation.

Use charts, graphs, and visuals to present data in a meaningful and digestible way.

4.1. Select and Customize Widgets:

Choose the appropriate widgets (charts, tables, maps, etc.) for each KPI. Customize these widgets to display the data in a way that aligns with your brand tracking goals.

4.2. Real-Time Updates:

Setup automated processes for real-time data updates. This ensures that your brandtracking dashboard reflects the most recent information, allowing for timelyanalysis and decision-making.

4.3. Include Comparative Analysis:

Include features for comparative analysis. Compare current data with historical data, industry benchmarks, or competitor performance to gain valuable insights.

User Access and Permissions

Define user access levels and permissions to control who can view or modify the dashboard. This is crucial for ensuring that sensitive brand data is only accessible to authorized individuals.

Training and Documentation & Continuous Optimization

Provide training for users who will be interacting with the brand tracking dashboard.Create documentation to guide users on how to interpret the data and leverage the dashboard's features effectively. Regularly review the performance of your brand tracking dashboard and gather feedback from users. Make adjustments based on evolving business needs, changes in datasources, or user requirements.

Coding/Implementation

I worked with developers in the Agile team on day to day bases to code the design into production systems.

Release

We released the design to end users to help them manage their business; and established a brand tracking dashboard that provides valuable insights into your brand's performance and helps inform strategic decision-making. Regularly revisit and refine your dashboard to ensure it remains aligned with your brand tracking goals.
